Robots as a Service
Instead of buying a robot outright, you subscribe to one — like leasing a coworker who never sleeps, never takes lunch breaks, and absolutely will judge your forklift operators.
You don’t buy the robot, you rent the robot + software + updates + maintenance + support.
RaaS bundles typically include:
1. The robot hardware
You get the robot on-site, operating in your environment.
2. Software & AI updates
Continuous improvements pushed remotely.
Humanoids get better while in your factory, not in a lab.
3. Maintenance & repairs
If something breaks (and it will), the vendor handles it.
You don’t pay for new parts — it’s baked into the subscription.
4. Integration & onboarding
Our engineers help configure tasks, workflows, safety zones, etc.
5. Support team / Tele-operations backup
Most humanoids still have occasional human oversight behind the scenes.
RaaS quietly bundles that in.
How RaaS Pricing Works
There are 3 common models:
Model A — Monthly Subscription
A monthly fee per robot depending on capability.
Model B — Pay Per Task / Pay Per Hour
You pay for output, not the robot itself.
E.g.:
$0.10 per tote moved
$45/hour of productive robot time
This is popular in logistics.
Model C — Hybrid (Base fee + Usage fees)
A minimum monthly fee + variable usage charges.
